Step-by-Step Guide to Fix Your Storage Device

Step 1: Press "Windows + R" on your keyboard. Type "cmd" and press OK.

Step 2: In the Command Prompt window, type "diskpart" and press Enter.

Step 3: A new window will open. Type "list disk" and press Enter to display all connected disks.

Step 4: Identify your SD card or pen drive from the list. Type "select disk X" (replace X with your disk number) and press Enter.

Step 5: To clean the selected disk, type "clean" and press Enter. You will receive a message stating, "DiskPart succeeded in cleaning the disk."

Step 6: Open "My Computer" to check that your USB drive is now empty.

Step 7: Right-click on "Windows" (for Windows 8 and 10) or "My Computer" (for Windows 7) and select "Disk Management." Right-click on the unallocated space of your disk and select 'New Simple Volume'.

Step 8: Follow the prompts in the New Simple Volume Wizard by clicking "Next." Set your preferred name for the volume, click "Next," and then click "Finish."

And you’re done! Open "My Computer" to confirm that your USB drive is now accessible.
